1. Who we are

Local Custom is operated by 1401521 B.C. Ltd., a British Columbia company based in Delta, BC. These terms apply to purchases from localcustom.ca and to custom orders arranged with our team. Questions: sales@localcustom.ca.

2. Orders and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise; applicable taxes are added at checkout. An order confirmation email means we've received your order, not that we've accepted it — we may cancel and refund any order for reasons including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or garment availability issues, and we'll tell you if we do.

3. Custom products

Our products are decorated to order. Production times are estimates, not guarantees — our standard is about 10 business days, and we'll flag anything that changes that. Minor variation in decoration placement and colour between an on-screen proof and the finished garment is normal in apparel decoration and isn't a defect.

4. Your artwork

By submitting a logo, design, or any artwork, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and you give us the right to reproduce it to produce your order (including showing you proofs). You're responsible for any claim that artwork you supplied infringes someone else's rights. We may decline to print artwork at our discretion.

5. Proofs and approval

For bulk and custom orders we provide a digital proof before production. Approving the proof approves everything on it — spelling, layout, sizing, placement, and colours. We produce what you approved.

6. Personalization

Names, numbers, and other personalization are produced exactly as submitted. Check them carefully before ordering.

7. Cancellations and changes

You can cancel or change a custom order at no cost any time before you approve the proof or production begins, whichever comes first. After that, garments may already be purchased and decorated — we'll do what we can, but cancellations may be subject to costs already incurred.

8. Team stores

Team store products are available during posted order windows and produced in a batch after the window closes. Delivery and pickup arrangements are described on each store's page.

9. Quotes

Written quotes are valid for 30 days. Garment pricing and availability come from our suppliers and can change until your order is confirmed.

10. Returns and refunds

See our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under British Columbia consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

11. Our content

The content on this site (other than customer-supplied artwork) belongs to us or our licensors. Don't scrape, copy, or misuse the site.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example, an event happening before a delayed order arrives).

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes will be handled in the courts of British Columbia.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above tells you when. The version posted when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
