Here's our guide to the most popular item in our shop: the hoodie.
While there are fewer hoodie varieties than t-shirts, there are still plenty of options to make it difficult to choose. Here's what we often recommend to clients:
The Gildan 18500 Heavyweight is one of the most popular hoodies out there. We use it for many of our school collections, like Sibylla Kiddle. Clients like it because it has an incredible colour range and matching youth style. It is budget-friendly and gets the job done. It also sports one of the longest body lengths.
Another excellent choice is the ATC F2500 Everyday Fleece Hoodie. This is our classic, no-fuss budget hoodie — a 7.8 oz 50/50 cotton/poly three-end fleece that wears well and stays reliable across a big run, which makes it a favourite for large club and team orders. We use it for the DSS Pacerwear Hoodies, and for many of our regular clients. It comes in a wide range of colours and is very budget-friendly.
Stepping up in quality and weight is the classic Russell 695HBM Dri Power® Hoodie. This option is our preferred 'budget, yet premium' option for clients that want a step above your basic Gildan hoodie. We use this in the 100 year Ladner Minor Baseball's Fleece Hoodie, and for many of the Gradwear options that schools order.
A popular premium brand with more of a 'streetwear' style is Independent Trading Co.. They have a variety of styles and weights. We particularly like the Independent SS4500 for a premium hoodie option. If you are looking for ultra-premium and heavyweight, nothing outweighs the Independent IND5000P.
For our athletic clients, we often recommend the ATC F2100 Performance Fleece Hoodie. This is a 100% polyester option. It feels smooth and athletic, and won't pill after use like many of the other blended fleece options. We use this in our Ladner Minor Baseball Performance Hoodie.
